Safetline invests in Lectra machinery for the cutting department
The investment is the Vector Footwear iX6, which offers precise and fast cutting for a wide range of fabrics, easily adjusting from foam to artificial leather and varied fabrics. This flexibility is essential for a diversified production.
The continuous search for excellence led Safetline to choose the Vector iX6 footwear cutting solution for its factory, equipment from Lectra — a player in the fashion, automotive, and furniture markets —, combined with the Diamino Pro nesting software. With Lectra's technology, the company will be able to increase productivity, optimizing production processes and minimizing material consumption, thanks to the reduction in spacing between pieces in the cutting process.
Jorge Smilgys, CEO of Safetline, highlights that the search aimed to provide greater agility in production without compromising quality, “which is our signature,” he says. When connected, the machine allows performance monitoring and remote support, with more than 80% of problems resolved through Smart Services. Safetline's innovative approach includes positioning the Vector machine on rails in the production room, expanding the capacity to serve multiple spreading tables, resulting in higher output, machine efficiency, and return on investment.
