Benefits

  • MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS

Proper maintenance of safety footwear helps preserve its characteristics, provide greater comfort during use, and extend its service life. Simple care regarding cleaning, drying, storage, and usage is essential to keeping footwear in good condition.

  • CLEANING

Clean the leather externally only, using a slightly damp cloth. For nubuck, never use water and/or soap. Cleaning must be performed using only products specifically designed for this material, with the aid of a natural or synthetic soft-bristles brush.

  • SHINE

Before applying any polish or shine products, clean the footwear thoroughly. This precaution prevents dirt particles from remaining on the surface and damaging the leather during application.

  • DRYING

After cleaning or use, allow the footwear to dry in a cool, well-ventilated area. Never expose it to direct heat sources, such as heaters, ovens, or stoves, nor directly to sunlight.

  • SAFETY

Once the footwear is completely dry, it is recommended to apply shoe polish or wax using gauze to help prevent the leather from drying out, cracking, and peeling. After application, wait approximately 5 minutes and buff with a clean, dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush. To help maximize footwear durability, it is recommended to repeat this process at least once a week.

  • SAFETY

Always use footwear suitable for its intended purpose and choose the correct size. These measures are important to provide the required safety and avoid discomfort during wear.

  • SOCK USAGE

Perspiration is a factor that can damage footwear, as it accelerates leather hardening, making it brittle, while promoting the growth of fungi, skin conditions, and unpleasant odors.

  • ROTATION

Alternate the use of your footwear and leave the pair not being worn completely open for at least 24 hours. Rotation promotes ventilation and allows accumulated sweat to evaporate, helping to keep footwear hygienic and comfortable.
