Hortolândia – SP – Last Monday (20), we had the honor of welcoming State Deputy Ana Perugini to our headquarters, a historical and active figure in the politics of the Metropolitan Region of Campinas. With deep roots in Hortolândia — the city where the Safetline factory is located — Ana has built a career marked by her defense of the SUS, public education, and women's rights.
Accompanied by her advisors, as well as the Deputy Secretary of Economic Development of the City Hall of Hortolândia, Rodrigo Oliveira, the deputy was enthusiastically received by our team. The visit was marked by moments of exchange, warmth, and great learning.
During the meeting, Ana Perugini got a close look at each production sector of Safetline, speaking with employees, listening to their stories, and praising the work done. Her special attention to the female workers on the production line reinforces her commitment to valuing women in the workplace.
In addition, we had the opportunity to share with the deputy the history of the Smilgys family, founders of Safetline, and their connection to the development of Hortolândia. We spoke about the region's economic advances, City Hall incentives, and the growth of our company, which, with the completion of the ongoing construction, will feature more than 25,000 m² of manufacturing area.
