Technical High School students visited Safetline in an experience that connected education, industry, professional training, and the future.
Giro Safetline: knowledge connecting school, industry, and the future
On August 14, Safetline welcomed 18 High School students with a technical course from Escola Manuel Ignácio. The visit provided a learning experience and contact with the daily routine of a safety footwear industry.
The teacher and Coordinator of the Technical Administration Course, Juliana Gonçalves Monteferrante, and Michele Piconi Soares, from the Secretariat of Inclusion and Social Development of Hortolândia, accompanied the students during the visit.
The visit was part of Giro Safetline, an initiative that brings students closer to the professional environment and shows, in practice, how different areas contribute to the operation of an industry.
Getting to know the industry's routine
Led by Vitor Emanuel Pereira, Senior IT Analyst at Safetline, the visit introduced the students to different areas of the factory and the administrative sector.
In addition, the leaders presented their activities and processes. The students were able to understand how different professionals work together in the production of safety footwear.
The experience also allowed the students to learn more about the opportunities and challenges present in the industrial environment.
From the classroom to practice
A technical visit allows students to have direct contact with situations that complement classroom learning.
At the same time, students observe how professionals apply technical knowledge. In addition, they understand the importance of skills such as organization, teamwork, technology, and management.

Knowledge about production and safety
The program concluded at the Safetline Laboratory, where the students learned more about the processes related to the production, quality, and safety of footwear.
Thus, the moment showed the different stages involved in manufacturing safety footwear. In addition, it highlighted the work of the professionals responsible for ensuring quality and protection.
Since it is a piece of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), the manufacturing process is also related to technical and safety requirements established by Brazilian legislation.
A meeting that leaves valuable lessons
At the end of the visit, each student received a special kit as a keepsake of the meeting.
