Março + Mulher: Social Impact Initiative in Hortolândia

In March, Safetline carried out a social initiative in Hortolândia as part of Março + Mulher, with a transformative project that reflected our commitment to empowering women. Throughout the month, various actions were developed to strengthen the self-esteem of our female employees, raise awareness about violence, disseminate internal support channels, and promote motivational lectures. However, the impact of the social initiative in Hortolândia during Março + Mulher was not limited to our employees; we also sought to make a significant impact on the local community.

Although the Março + Mulher campaign primarily focused on our female employees, we understood it was essential to extend our initiative to the women, or future women, of the local community. With the mission of contributing to the growth and well-being of the region, we planned a special initiative for the girls from Casa Betânia da Paz, an NGO that shelters girls in vulnerable situations. Our goal was to provide these young women with an immersive experience in the corporate world, promoting local development and creating new perspectives for their future.

Encounter with Corporate Reality

On March 21st, the young women from Casa Betânia had the opportunity to get to know Safetline up close, with a visit that became a true immersion into the company's corporate universe. To ensure comfort and safety, we partnered with União Turismo, which provided free and comfortable transportation for our guests, with air-conditioned minibuses.

Upon arrival, the girls were treated to a delicious breakfast provided by Ocanha Gourmet, including cookies, snacks, cakes, and other items, offering a welcoming morning. Our Young Apprentices were present to share their professional journeys with the girls from Casa Betânia. They spoke about their experiences and daily routines at Safetline, motivating and inspiring the participants to believe that the first step towards a promising future is within everyone's reach.

Immersion into Our Corporate World

After breakfast, the guests visited different areas of Safetline. Karolainny and Claudenice presented the company's administrative sectors, such as sales, quality, purchasing, marketing, IT, finance, among others. In the production area, Guilherme and Ana Júlia guided the participants through the manufacturing processes of Safetline's safety footwear, explaining and demonstrating all areas responsible for product manufacturing.

The day concluded with a discussion about professions, first jobs, and the challenges of the job market. As a token of appreciation for their participation, all young women received a symbolic gift, marking this special moment and reinforcing the importance of the initiative. The initiative was a success, thanks to the effort and dedication of the Safetline team, composed of Elisa Arruda, Gustavo Rocha, Victor Smilgys, Larissa Riccetto, and Andrezza Gonçalves.

The active participation of the Young Apprentices and the enthusiasm of the girls from Casa Betânia prove that we achieved our objectives: to provide a practical and inspiring experience of the corporate world and, above all, to offer new perspectives for the future of these young women.

We hope that this initiative has planted a seed of hope and new horizons for the participants. The experience was more than a simple corporate visit; it was an opportunity to believe that a promising future is within everyone's reach. The social impact we generated is not limited to a single event but is the beginning of a positive transformation for the young women in the community. We remain committed to contributing to local growth and development, always seeking new paths for our society.
