High temperatures

High temperatures

Safety footwear developed for high-temperature environments features an upper made from flame-retardant leather, specially treated to resist intense heat. During the tanning and finishing process, the leather receives treatments that increase its durability and reduce the effects of continuous exposure to heat, such as drying out or loss of flexibility.

Thanks to these properties, the upper offers effective protection against contact with hot surfaces and splashes of incandescent materials, maintaining the structural integrity of the footwear. Furthermore, it provides the worker with safety and comfort even in extreme conditions.

Complementing these characteristics, the outsole is produced in nitrile rubber and directly injected onto the upper, ensuring maximum resistance and durability. This material is capable of withstanding elevated temperatures without deforming or losing grip, maintaining the worker's stability even in extreme conditions.

With thermal resistance that can reach up to 300 °C under direct contact, the outsole preserves its performance and offers excellent slip resistance, an essential factor in preventing accidents on critical floors.

These characteristics make the footwear indispensable in sectors such as steelmaking, metallurgy, foundries, and glass industries, where exposure to heated floors and hot surfaces is part of the daily routine, ensuring superior protection, safety, comfort, and reliability for the worker in high-risk activities.

  • Heat Insulation Resistant (HI)

Resistance and Comfort in High Temperatures

The combination of the flame-retardant leather upper and the heat-resistant nitrile rubber outsole brings together, in a single pair of safety footwear, characteristics of mechanical resistance, durability, and thermal protection, without compromising wearer comfort.

In addition to the protective features provided by these components, this combination allows the footwear to meet the normative requirements for HI, regarding the heat resistance of the complete footwear assembly, and HRO, regarding the outsole's resistance to contact heat.

In this way, the upper and outsole work together to provide safety, reliability, and thermal comfort in extreme working conditions.
